The Writer
If you’ve followed my ranting to this point, thank you. I’ve wanted to get this off my chest for a long time. Now let me introduce myself, and where this blog is going. I am first and foremost a conservative, fundamental, thinking and biblically founded Christian. I believe in truth, and that truth does not change. I believe truth is reflected in science, as scientific study grows from the pursuit of truth. It can be verified, doesn’t contradict itself, and it absolute. I believe that God is Truth and the source of any truth in the universe. I believe one of the unchangeable aspects of God’s nature: He is Truth.
I am also a scientist. I have studied mechanical, physical, and chemical sciences. While not degree’d in these fields (and some of you will decide that this disqualifies me from having valid scientific opinions) I agree with my fellow scientists that the physical universe is governed by unchangeable laws. Newton’s 3 Laws of Motion, The Law of gravity, The 3 laws of thermodynamics – each of these are measurable, and as laws, are unchangeable. They govern actions and interactions in the universe. Before Newton discovered his 3 laws, these forces still governed the universe. Before we understood thermodynamics, or genetics, these laws still managed the affairs of particles, and biological entities in the cosmos. They are unchangeable, and we are the ones coming late to the party, and figuring it all out.
As such, new theories . . . any theory should be evaluated and measured in light of established and proven postulates. And as such, the purpose of this blog is to engage the war between Darwinists and Creationists on the common battlefield of this war of truth. If Darwin postulated truth, we should be able to find supporting evidence. Other scientific observation will support his theory. Under this canopy of supportive evidence, we could then move Darwinians out of the theorist camp, into the honored camp including Newton, Archimedes, and Galileo. However, if modern scientific research contradicts Darwin’s theories and observations, and we can demonstrate that his theory is neither measurable, observable nor repeatable, then there is a problem. If other proven and universally accepted scientific laws are in opposition to Darwin’s observations, then it is time for Darwin to join those who told Columbus that the world was flat, who lived in fear of falling off the edge of the earth.
The time has come to move this argument to a tipping point, and resolve the issue of man, our origin, God and our relationship to him, if He exists.
I believe He does.
